We are the first and foremost chiropractic organization in Connecticut. The CCA is dedicated to the advancement of the profession as a whole person centered healing art discipline for generalist, primary and specialty care for persons of all ages in Connecticut. The Association welcomes and stands for all chiropractic doctors in Connecticut.

 

We are firmly committed to maintain our full scope of practice in all public and private health care policies established in the state to assure all doctors can participate in the health care systems and all persons can select a method of health care consistent with their way of life. This assures our liberties are fully included in the delivery and scientific development of health care.

 

In the interest in advancing chiropractic for all persons in the state we maintain four well focused strategies:

-        Lobbying to monitor and introduce legislation that assures chiropractic is include in forming health care policies and all persons have access to chiropractic care to the same extent as all other physician level providers

-        Legal services for Executive Board policies, lobbying issues, insurance compliance with state and federal laws, notification of regulations to members and provide other legal assistance as needed.

-        Marketing of the profession, Association and member doctors to the general public, health care institutions, appropriate state agencies and business through our web site and social media.

-        Services to member doctors providing continuing education opportunities, organizing mandated continuing education, provide answers to questions and problems with office administration, insurance companies, government regulations and others.

CCA Dues Structure

The costs to administer this organization for the benefit of all chiropractic doctors in the state are substantial is we are to succeed in positioning the full scope of chiropractic in our health care systems and institutions. Your understanding of these costs and involvement to help assure we succeed in positioning the profession and patient liberties in a better place of health care delivery is most appreciated.

-        Retain a lobbyist to coordinate with our government relations committee in assuring the chiropractic profession is fully and fairly included in all health care policy and practice related laws and regulations. Your ability to practice the full scope of chiropractic practice is dependent upon the laws and regulations.

-        Meet on a regular basis with the insurance industry to assure chiropractic is properly understood and included in health insurance policies.

-        Meet with government agencies and regulators to assure chiropractic is properly understood laws and regulations are properly followed and our profession is properly included in government health care initiatives.
